Out and About

McGregor Mountain Lodge lies in the middle of one of the most special places on Earth. Being in the heart of the Rocky Mountains provides our guests with scenery that takes the breath away, beautiful mountain weather, and all the wildlife you could expect to see in the High Country of the Colorado Rockies. In fact, being located on the southern fringe of the Mummy Range, our property is a wonderful spot to see both the Black Canyon and Mummy Mountain herds of Bighorn Sheep.

We will have pictures of recent wildlife sightings, of beautiful Colorado scenery, or of anything that we think our past/present/future guests may find interesting, all taken from here on the wonderful property of McGregor Mountain Lodge.

Wild Life News - more wild life news...

12-16-2008: About 16 bighorn, including a few large rams came down and grazed on the property for about 30 minutes.

12-19-2008: This 8x7 bull was hanging out above the lodge... he's huge!!

12-18 -2008: I love these little Aberts Squirrels! They are quick though and tough to get agood picture of!
